A Promise from the Word

...Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall SAY unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he SAITH shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he SAITH. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and

Ye shall have them. Mark 11:22-24

Devotional - Right Standing

James 5:16....The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Would you like to have your prayers be more effective and powerful? Repentance is the key. Sin can cause a blessing, blocking barrier - stoping your prayers from being answered. If you have a grudge against another person in Christ, take a look at what Jesus had to say Matthew 5:23 Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. After Jesus spoke to his disciples the Lord's prayer, and teaching them how to pray, He added in Matthew 6:14-15. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. Repentance is key to seeing your prayers answered. Remember to be persistant and patient as well. You will probably see a greater number of your prayers answered walking in an upright, righteous manner before the Lord. King David wrote in Psalm 51:10
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Scripture Reading

Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; And the prayer of Faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committeted sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervant prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
James 5:14-16
